Truly comfortable with a unique patented "lock out" folding frame (to avoid upholstery sag) you simply have to experience the Independent Meteor to appreciate the smoothness of the ride.

Two powerful, virtually silent motors offer controlled driving from creeping around the home or office, to powering up steep slopes or 4" (10cm) kerbs. Large batteries and a state of the art programmable onboard computer work together to obtain maximum performance from a single overnight charge (which costs just a few pennies).

Independent Meteor has a host of features included in a really affordable price. From the rugged, durable, easy clean, lightweight tubular steel frame to the special centre-mounted discrete kerb climber: from the unique push-button, detachable drive units to the two way adjustable armrests (width and height) - every feature designed to make your ride more comfortable and your power wheelchair simple to use and transport.

The standard "ex-stock" chassis colour scheme is black for all Meteor manual wheelchairs and Electric red for Independent power wheelchairs.
A range of durable colours, consisting of Yellow, Navy Blue or Red are available at no extra charge, on specific order.
The entire range is supplied with durable, wipe clean, fire retardent upholstery.
For extra comfort and support, contoured seating is recommended and is available from the Scott Seating range.

	The Independent Meteor is capable of travelling a distance of 18kms (11 miles) on one charge (40 a/hr batteries). It will climb a 10 degree (1 in 6) gradient and mount a 10 cm (4") kerb. Theoretical range is calculated under test conditions, in accordance with European standards. Actual range in normal use will depend on many factors, including the condition of the vehicle and its batteries.
