Take the luxury and smooth performance of the regular Independent Meteor, add more powerful motors, special frame, castors, strengthened upholstery and a standard comfortable strut to the backrest, and you have an outstanding power wheelchair specially designed for the larger user.

Just like its smaller team-mate, this model is attractive, comfortable, hard wearing and very affordable.

Choice of left or right-hand drive controls, easy read battery charge gauge, and a detachable backrest, are just a few of the features included in the price of this remarkable model, which will enhance your own mobility and independence beyond belief.

The standard "ex-stock" chassis colour scheme is black for all Meteor manual wheelchairs and Electric Red for Independent power wheelchairs.
A range of durable colours,consisting of Yellow, Navy Blue or Red are available at no extra charge, on specific order.
The entire range is supplied with durable, wipe clean, fire retardent upholstery.
For extra comfort and support, contoured seating is recommended and is available from the Scott Seating range.

	The Independent Maxi Meteor is capable of travelling a distance of 14.5kms (9 miles) on one charge (60a/hr batteries). It will climb a 8 degree (1 in 7) gradient and should be driven on hard smooth terrain when loaded. Theoretical range is calculated under test conditions, in accordance with European standards. Actual range in normal use will depend on many factors, including the weight of the occupant, the condition of the vehicle and its batteries.
