STRAPS,TRAYS AND ORDERING CODES

Please remember that all of the belts are designed to assist posture and postural control. They are not designed to supplement vehicle restraint belts which must be used when travelling.

Scott seating will be pleased to consider any strap requests and the back and seat has a number of "T nut" screw inserts to facilitate effective mounting points for them.

The prescriber form offers a good selection of positioning straps and "butterfly" style vests. The vests and shoulder straps can be ordered with a dynamic (stretch band) insert to allow a small range of deliberate movement. All positioning straps should be mounted and used in accordance with clinician's recommendations.

Our company is presently developing a range of excellent trays to be included as accessories in the Scott seating range. In our experience, most cases make use of the tray supplied as a wheelchair accessory. Care should be taken to ensure compatibility with seating objectives.
